Tis the Season… for Awards

Awards season is officially upon us. This past week, we were entertained by two sets of hilarious women; Anna Faris and Allison Janney at the People’s Choice awards, and Tina Fey and Amy Poehler at the Golden Globes.

I am such a huge fan of awards season for a few reasons. It is a great excuse to bust open a bottle of wine and some junk food (popcorn is my poison). It also brings out the best fashion of the year from the most amazing designers. I could literally spend hours upon hours looking through best and worst dressed lists and watching Fashion Police (which re-airs tonight, the first episode since Joan Rivers).

Here are few of my favorite looks from both the People’s Choice and Golden Globe awards!

Now there are just my personal favorite looks from this past week. And believe me, it look A LONG time (probably much longer than it should have) to narrow it down to these select looks. Now, I am even more excited to see what the rest of awards season has to offer!

P.S. I have to give a huge shout-out to my amazing friends and family. This past weekend was my birthday (I’m feeling 22…)and I got the best birthday surprise I could ask for; my boyfriend, Bobby, who flew in all the way from Dallas! He managed to not only plan a trip here, but also a dinner with all my friends. I am so grateful to have such wonderful people around me who are willing to lie to me for months to surprise me.
